This Laser insulated extra-long slim series star bit socket is designed for safe operator use on live voltages up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC, manufactured to IEC60900 standards. It features a T27 size bit and a 3/8" drive, with an overall length of 155mm and a shank diameter of 6.2mm. The socket is made from chrome vanadium (50BV30) and the bit is made from S2 steel. This socket is suitable for use with the Laser Tools fully insulated 3/8"D ratchet (Part No. 8414) and fully insulated click type torque wrench (Part No. 8321). Ideal for use with electric vehicles (EV, PHEV, Hybrid) and for electricians working with live electrical systems. VDE certified.
