Full details
A premium grade, solvent based, yellow/ beige coloured, single component solvent-based contact adhesive. THIS PRODUCT IS TOLUENE-FREE. Suitable for bonding cork, leather, rubber, metals, wood, chipboard, hardboard, laminated plastics (e.g. Formica), dense textiles, plaster, stone, concrete, cementitious screeds and smoothing compounds. It will bond rigid PVC and uPVC sheets but materials should be checked for suitability prior to application as solvent attack can occur in some instances. May also be used to bond lightweight materials to vertical surfaces and ceilings. Predominantly designed for interior use but can be used externally when protected from direct sunlight and water. Not suitable for polystyrene, polythene, polypropylene, silicone rubbers, bitumen or PTFE. The solvent may attack certain painted or lacquered surfaces. Application: Stir thoroughly before use. Apply adhesive to both surfaces with a notched scraper, brush or trowel to produce a thin film. In cool, damp conditions, ensure no condensation takes place on glue lines as it will affect the bond. If condensation occurs (evident by a grey "bloom"), delay bonding until the glue is moisture-free. If the open time is exceeded, re-apply adhesive to both surfaces. Leave adhesive to become touch dry (approx 5-30 minutes).
