BOSSâ White is a non-poisonous pipe jointing compound that is clean and easy to apply. It acts as a lubricant during joint assembly and tightening, and does not harden, allowing for easy dismantling for subsequent pipework alterations. It provides a watertight seal and prevents weepage. The compound is white in colour and conforms to BS6956 Part 5, 1992. Do not use hemp with this product as it is not required for an effective seal and is illegal on potable water systems. This product is not suitable for potable water but is OK for natural gas.
