Low viscosity, non toxic potting compound with no shelf life. Re-enterable even after long periods. * Fast cross linking (23kV/mm. High volume resistivity. A low-viscosity, non-toxic potting compound with no shelf life. When cast in suitable casings, this Raytech Magic Gel can offer an IP68 degree of protection. Once poured, Magic Gel gets to work quickly and cross links in less than 10 minutes - without causing any thermal stress to the materials it comes into contact with. This insulating and sealing gel operates in a temperature range of -60degC to 200degC, making it suitable for high-temperature or sub-zero applications.* A low-viscosity potting compound* Fast cross linking in just 10 minutes* Cross links at sub-zero temperatures* Suitable for high-temperature applications* Operating temperature from -60degC to 200degC* Dielectric strength >23kV/mm* IP68 degree of protection in suitable casings* Non-toxic and safe with no shelf life* Re-enterable even after long periods* High volume resistivity Raytech Magic Gel IP68 300ml. Raytech Magic Gel in Bottles - Raytech MAGIC GEL 300, The Raytech Magic Gel 2 x 150ml Bottles utilises the latest in insulating technology. The unique cross linking polymer sets in just under 10 minutes creating huge labour-saving advantages. The product also benefits from a zero shelf life, providing less waste to the customer and can be used according to the amount required. Other advantages include: completely non toxic, unlike conventional potting materials, and can be accidentally ingested with complete safety. No need for protective gloves. Can be used safely in unventilated and confined areas. When mixed, the gel has more fluid characteristics than resin, for example, enabling it to pour more easily and successfully reach confined areas within an enclosure. There is no exothermic reaction during mixing. The gel can be partially removed if necessary to change a configuration, then resealed by 'topping up' the gel, which has a high resistance to shock because of its flexibility, and increases resistance to water ingress as submersion depth increases. The cross linking process will complete even in sub zero conditions and is fully RoHS and WEE directive compliant.
