Suitable for everyday wear, this detailed St. George medallion ring features the Patron Saint of England astride his horse, in the act of slaying the dragon. George's victory over a creature widely considered to represent the devil symbolises his triumph over evil- for this reason, his likeness is often worn as protection against ill fate. This ring does NOT come with a Sovereign Coin. Rather it is set with a Sterling Silver St George medal insert, which is the same size as a Half Sovereign Coin. This way you will achieve the look of a real Sovereign Coin but at a fraction of the price! Please note, the St George medallion is part of the bezel. A regular Coin Bezel will be required if you wish to set a coin in this ring.
