The Palissade bench is part of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s contemporary Palissade outdoor collection for HAY. Centring on symmetrical geometry, visual simplicity and core strength, the range has been designed to seamlessly integrate into both natural and urban settings and become more beautiful with time and use. Featuring a slender, curving frame and streamlined, slatted seat, this modern bench is crafted from durable steel in a strong yet elegant construction. Adding a contemporary touch to traditional French garden furniture style, the versatile Palissade bench pairs beautifully with the Palissade dining table for luxurious alfresco dining. With its clean, graphic design and incredible visual lightness, the Palissade collection bears the unmistakable style of the Bouroullec brothers. Very complete, it consists of thirteen elements: chairs with or without armrests, armchairs with different sizes and levels of comfort, benches, stools, tables.Together, they create a dining or relaxation area in our gardens and on our terraces, as well as in public places. The Palissade is aesthetically very homogeneous and uses round tubes for the structures and legs, coupled with long rectangular strips that make up the seats. Very ergonomically successful, this collection offers excellent sitting comfort, even without a cushion.
