This food-grade silicone lubricant is suitable for all seals and gaskets, portafilters, EPDM, Nitrile, etc. It has a working temperature range of -40 to +180 degrees Celsius, ensuring it remains in its applied state without gumming during machine operation. Regular lubrication of O-rings and gaskets during cleaning processes helps parts refit correctly, reduces friction, extends part life, and prevents seal cracks. Brew units for most 'fully automatic machines' should be lubricated every six months to prevent issues like creaking or high-pitched screeches. Always refer to your maintenance schedule for group head/portafilter lubrication requirements, as some may require it while others are intended to fit dry.
