The Epson SureColor SC-P5000 is a versatile and reliable large format printer designed for proofing, photography, and fine art applications, offering excellent Pantone accuracy. It is targeted at pre-press proofing for advertisers, manufacturers, and packaging designers, as well as gallery-quality printing for professional photographers and fine artists. The printer can be configured with violet ink for proofing or an LLK inkset for fine art and photography. It features improved reliability with new covers, seals, timer cleaning, and an automatic nozzle check to minimize wastage. The SC-P5000 delivers outstanding color accuracy, reproducing up to 99% of Pantone Solid Coated Colours, ensuring perfect duplication of corporate colors, artwork, and natural tones. Print quality is exceptional due to Epson's advanced printhead technology, producing high-resolution, long-lasting prints with a 3.5pl droplet size and 2880x1440dpi resolution. UltraChrome HDX inks provide a wider color gamut, increased optical density, and improved lightfastness. The printer is designed for easy setup and media handling, with an internal color calibration sensor, optional SpectroProofer for color consistency, simple media switching, and an on-screen guide for operation.
