The 12-point crampon for technical mountaineering, the Grivel G14 features 12 points, with the front two being hot-forged, replaceable, and configurable for bi-point or mono-point use. This forging technique enhances ice penetration and support, offering three-dimensional shapes to minimize rebounds. The central bar is adjustable, and the crampons include Grivel's proactive Antibott system on both the front and rear to prevent snow buildup. Available with Cramp-O-Matic EVO or New-Matic EVO bindings. Key features include forged steel construction, CE EN 893 and UIAA 153 certifications, and a weight of approximately 1.158 g/pair for the Cramp-O-Matic EVO version. They are suitable for sizes 36-47.
