The Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 Charger 12/15(1) 230V UK is a professional battery charger with built-in Bluetooth. It is suitable for use on workshop devices and motor vehicles such as cars, motorbikes, boats, and camper-vans. The charger allows monitoring of voltage and current, changing settings, and updating firmware via Bluetooth. It boasts high efficiency (up to 94%), generating less heat and consuming minimal power (0.5 Watt) when the battery is fully charged. The adaptive 6-stage charge algorithm includes test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float, and storage modes. The storage mode optimizes charging for batteries not in use, reducing maintenance and aging. It can also charge Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries using a simple algorithm. The NIGHT and LOW settings reduce output current to 50% and ensure noiseless operation, with NIGHT mode automatically ending after 8 hours and LOW mode ending manually. The charger is protected against overheating, with output current reducing as temperature increases.
