Direct sow seeds outdoors from April to May in a position of full sun on well-drained soil. Sow seeds thinly, 2cm deep in drills spaced 30cm apart and cover with soil. Water regularly, especially during dry periods. Germination typically takes 20-30 days. Thin seedlings to 23cm apart when large enough to handle.
