The M5A1 light tank, developed from the M3 Stuart, entered production in January 1943. It was powered by twin V8 Cadillac gasoline engines, reaching a top speed of 58km/h. The tank was armed with a 37mm main gun and two 7.92mm machine guns, featuring additional armor plating on the turret's right side for anti-aircraft machine gun protection. Approximately 6,800 units were produced and primarily used in reconnaissance roles on the Italian and North West European Fronts. This is a 1/35 scale model kit of the U.S. Light Tank M5A1 with 4 figures, depicting a tank equipped for pursuit operations.
