The Pentax WG-8 is a top-of-the-line digital compact camera featuring outstanding waterproof performance, a high-power, discharge-adjustable Ring Light, and 4K-resolution movie recording. This all-weather camera is highly dependable in harsh conditions, boasting heavy-duty construction with outstanding protection against water, dust, shock, and freezing. It's perfect for shooting at demanding locations, including underwater and in the rain. The WG-8's solid, airtight body is waterproof to a depth of 20 meters for up to two hours (IPX8 equivalent) and dustproof (IPX6 equivalent). It's also shockproof against falls from up to 2.1 meters, crushproof against weights of up to 100kgf, and cold-resistant to -10C. The camera delivers high-resolution, low-noise images thanks to its 20 effective megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor and high-performance imaging engine. It features a 5x optical zoom lens with a 28mm wide-angle coverage (equivalent to 28mm-140mm in 35mm format), suitable for landscapes and distant subjects. The WG-8 supports 4K movie recording (3840 x 2160 pixels) and includes Movie SR and SR+ modes for shake-free clips. Maximum recording length per file is 25 minutes or 4GB.
