This Devcon 2 Ton Epoxy is designed for DIY enthusiasts and home repair projects, offering a strong and water-resistant adhesive solution for various materials. Its primary benefit is the high tensile strength of 2500 PSI, ensuring durable bonds. A potential caveat is its rapid curing time, which requires prompt application once mixed. The product features an easy-to-use dual syringe for accurate mixing and dispenses a total of 9oz of adhesive, drying to a clear to light yellow finish.

Typically, unopened epoxy has a shelf life of 1-2 years when stored in a cool, dry place. Once mixed, it has a working life of approximately 30 minutes.
This product is not specifically rated as food-safe. It is recommended for general repairs and should not be used on surfaces that come into direct contact with food.
The epoxy has a handling time of 30 minutes and a set time of 30 minutes. It will fully cure in approximately 24 hours.
This epoxy is not recommended for bonding flexible plastics such as polyethylene or polypropylene. Special adhesives are usually required for these types of materials.
While specific temperature resistance varies, 2-ton epoxies generally offer good resistance to moderate heat. Consult the product's technical data sheet for precise temperature limits.
Uncured epoxy can typically be cleaned up with a dry cloth or by using a solvent like acetone or denatured alcohol. Always test solvents on an inconspicuous area first.
Ensure both epoxy and hardener were dispensed and mixed in equal proportions. Verify that the ambient temperature is within the recommended range for curing. Check that the product has not expired.
Ensure surfaces were properly cleaned and prepared before application. Verify that the correct mixing ratio was used. Allow sufficient cure time before stressing the bond.
Ensure the mixing nozzle is properly attached. Try gently wiggling the plungers. If the product has started to cure inside the syringe, it may be unusable.
This is normal for this product; it dries to a clear to light yellow color. For applications requiring a perfectly clear finish, consider a different product formulation.
Setup:
Compatibility: This epoxy is compatible with acrylic, china, fiberglass, metal, wood, concrete, ceramic, and glass.
Care: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the cap is securely closed after use to prevent premature curing. Clean up uncured epoxy with a dry cloth or solvent (check product label for specific solvent recommendations). Cured epoxy is difficult to remove.
