Grow in containers or in beds. Any crop called Perpetual has to be good news. Perpetual by name, and perpetual by nature. This tasty and vitamin-packed variety of spinach is highly productive with larger, fleshier leaves than regular spinach. We recommend you sow little and often from spring until September for a spring to autumn harvest of tender, succulent green leaves that will save you costs of limp salad bags at the supermarket. Out of season you can even sow in late autumn so it overwinters and you have harvests as early as late winter for an extra early start to the growing year. Perpetual is a tasty, vitamin-rich, high-yield spinach ideal for containers or beds. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this fast-growing annual produces larger, fleshier leaves than regular spinach and is disease resistant and low maintenance. Sow little and often indoors or outdoors from March to September for a continuous spring-to-autumn harvest; you can also sow in late autumn to overwinter and enjoy early harvests from late winter. Plants reach around 300 mm and prefer well-drained soil.
