The first solar-powered chronograph in the Mako family, featuring a three-dial design and 200m water resistance. Powered by sunlight, the Orient Mako Chronograph Solar combines dive and chronograph design elements with the convenience of a solar-powered battery. This new model converts energy from sunlight and other light sources into electrical energy, eliminating the need for battery replacements. Charging is managed through three subdials: a 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock, a 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock, and a small second subdial at 9 o’clock. The watch also features a uni-directional rotating bezel and an Arabic numeral at the 12 o’clock position, inspired by the first Orient Mako model. With a sapphire crystal and 200m water resistance, it is suitable for a variety of environments. The VS752 mechanism, produced by Orient, offers precision within +/- 20 seconds per month. Luminescent markers and hands ensure night visibility, and the screw-down crown and case back provide water resistance up to 20 atmospheres, making it suitable for diving. The watch comes in an elegant Orient watch box.
