Liquitex Basics Light Modeling Paste – 250ml. This is a lightweight acrylic medium perfect for adding texture and volume without adding weight. Designed for flexible sculptural effects, it dries to a hard, matte finish that can be sanded, carved, or painted. It is ideal for creating dimensional effects with less shrinkage and is suitable for use on canvas and other flexible surfaces. This medium can be blended with acrylic colors or used on its own as a base layer. The opaque matte surface can be overpainted when dry. This medium is perfect for artists looking to add subtle raised details and build up surfaces while maintaining flexibility and ease of use. Additionally, this modeling paste is opaque and ideal for 3D effects. It is lightweight and flexible, does not shrink or crack, and is ideal for carving, grinding, and modeling. It gives an even matte finish and can be used on its own, mixed with color, or painted once dry. It is ready to use for the impasto technique and reliefs. Filler marks and brush strokes remain visible and the relief structure is perfectly maintained. The modeling paste can also brighten certain acrylic colors when mixing.
