CarPlan GRG050 Gastite - Red 50gm is a semi-hardening gasket and jointing compound with excellent gap filling properties, making it ideal for use in pitted or uneven machined surfaces. It can be used for sealing joints with a gasket or for easy sealing of joints where a gasket is not required. This compound is resistant to petrol, diesel, oil, water, steam, and anti-freeze. Components are quick and easy to dismantle after assembly. It is suitable for use on Aluminium and cylinder heads and holds gaskets in place during assembly. It withstands temperatures from -40°C to +250°C. Directions for Use: 1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, rust, or dirt. 2. Remove the cap from the tube, pierce the top, and apply evenly over both surfaces. 3. Leave for a few minutes, then apply parts. 4. Excess compound can be removed with methylated spirits. 5. Replace the cap after use.
