Extremely durable, strong but lightweight, it is made to last, produced in weatherproof hot-dipped galvanised zinc steel and finished in a lovely shade of hunter green. An additional feature is a rubber edging safety band that prevents sharp edges and finishes it off nicely. This metal raised bed will provide the perfect base at 35 cm high, suitable for any home growing, whether for vegetables, herbs or flowers. It minimises bending and makes weeding easy! You can fill the raised bed with the soil of your choice, allowing you to tailor the growing media to exactly suit your crop. The soil in the raised bed will warm up faster than the soil in the ground, aiding rapid germination. Growing in raised beds also helps to protect plants from pests and reduces competition for water and light from other plants.
