The Fractal Design Define 7 XL redefines capacity, setting a new standard for full tower cases in terms of modularity, flexibility, and ease of use. Its dual-layout interior, industrial sound damping, and versatile design support large E-ATX and enterprise boards, multi-GPU setups, complex water cooling loops, and numerous storage devices. The case offers a superlative storage capacity with up to 18 HDDs and 5 SSDs in its default Storage Layout (includes 6 HDD/SSD trays, 2 SSD brackets, and 2 multi-brackets). It features a Type-C interface with five front USB ports, including one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C supporting fast charging and speeds up to 10Gbps. The top panel is easily removable for unimpeded building and routing, and can be swapped with a ventilated panel for four additional filtered fan positions. The expansive internal layout easily accommodates large motherboards up to E-ATX and SSI-EEB. The elegant new front design features brushed aluminum, a refined front door with reversible dual-handed hinges, and a magnetic latch. In Open Layout, it provides ample space for custom water loops with large reservoirs and radiators up to 480 mm. The case includes two 5.25” ODD bays that can be converted to an additional front fan mount with a filtered louver. It boasts silence-optimized construction with industrially sound-damped front, top, and side panels.
