Also known as the creeping blue blossom, or Californian Lilac, this Ceanothus lives up to its name, growing into a gorgeous mounded shrub with glossy evergreen leaves and powder-blue flowers in the spring. The pale blue flowers form a spectacular cloud of colour during May and June, attracting butterflies and pollinators. It is easy to grow and one of the hardiest Ceanothus varieties. Thyrsiflorus var. repens is compact enough to grow in a pot or can be grown up a wall, reaching a height of 1.5m (5ft) and spreading up to 4m (13ft). It has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit, guaranteeing it as a proven garden performer suitable for all levels of experience. Supplied as an established plant in a 2L pot, ready for planting. Flowers from May to June.
