CONCERT AESTHETIC: The Concert collection has a distinctive design with softly rounded top, solid stylish doors, and Classic controls and handles. These appliances are practical, easy to use and produce great results whilst looking good in your kitchen. They are available with either gas or ceramic tops. Pyrolytic cleaning: Smeg's pyrolytic oven cavity is designed to eliminate corners, holes and joints whilst every element inside the cavity can be easily removed: the upper grill has a tilting mechanism, and the side oven shelf brackets can be removed and washed in the dishwasher. Through the automatic pyrolytic cleaning function, all the dirt and grease stuck to the walls of the oven is burned away effortlessly, without the need for detergents, thanks to the extremely high temperature reached by the oven (500 °C). CLOSED DOOR GRILLING: Closed door grilling allows you to grill with the door closed, keeping cooking smells inside the oven and out of the kitchen to ensure a safe cooking environment and reduced energy consumption. EXTRA STORAGE: This cooker has a useful storage compartment beneath the oven, perfect for housing shelves, racks, trays and other items. EASY CLEAN ENAMEL INTERIOR: The enamel finish of the oven cavity has a special antacid lining which helps to reduce the amount of dirt adhering to the surface. Cooking Functions: Static: Upper and lower element only; a traditional cooking method best suited for single items located in the centre of the oven. the top of the oven will always be hottest. Ideal for roasts, fruit cakes, bread etc. Fan Assisted: Fan with upper and lower elements: The elements combined with the fan aim to provide more uniform heat, a similar method to conventional cooking, so pre-heat is required. Most suitable for items requiring slow cooking methods. Circulaire: The combination of the fan and circular element around it gives a hot air cooking method. This provides many benefits including no preheat if cook time is more than 20 minutes, no flavour transfer when cooking different foods at the same time, less energy, and shorter cook times. Good for all types of food. ECO: The combination of the grill, fan and lower element is particularly suitable for cooking small quantities of food. Large Grill: Grill element: Using of grill gives excellent results when cooking meat of medium and small portions, especially when combined with a rotisserie (where possible). Also ideal for cooking sausages and bacon. Fan Assisted Base: In gas ovens the fan distributes the heat quickly and evenly throughout the oven cavity, avoiding flavour transfer when cooking a number of different dishes at the same time. In electric ovens this combination completes cooking more quickly of foods that are ready on the surface, but that require more cooking inside, without further browning.
