"The Heatmiser TA230 Thermal Actuator 230 V is a high-quality underfloor heating actuator designed for precise zone control on most UK and European underfloor heating manifolds. Built for compatibility and efficiency, it provides accurate water flow regulation and reliable operation in multi-zone heating systems.Featuring a standard M30 × 1.5 mm manifold valve connection, this 230 V actuator head is suitable for use with Heatmiser, Emmeti, Uponor, and other leading brands that support M30 × 1.5 mm thermal actuators. It operates as normally closed (NC) — remaining shut when unpowered — and opens fully within 120 to 180 seconds for consistent heating performance.Engineered for long life and energy efficiency, the TA230 consumes just 2 W, making it ideal for large underfloor systems with multiple zones. The IP54-rated ABS housing protects against dust and moisture, while the pre-wired 1 m two-core cable allows quick connection to Heatmiser UH4, UH8 or compatible 230 V wiring centres.With a stroke of 3.5 ± 0.5 mm, operating temperature range of 0–60 °C, and compact design, this thermal actuator for underfloor heating fits easily inside manifold boxes and plant rooms.
