The Sonik Turbospod 14000 reel is engineered for high-speed spodding, featuring an ultrafast 5.7:1 gear ratio for an impressive 1.45m retrieve per handle turn. Designed as a robust workhorse, it incorporates a wormshaft gear system, floating rotor line guard, and an oversized, twist-free line roller for efficient long-range spodding. The reel boasts a stainless-steel main shaft and a hi-strength graphite body and rotor, contributing to its manageable 680gm weight. Additional features include an open bail rotor lock, super-slow oscillation for optimal line lay, and three captive line clips for precise spot marking. A shallow cast spool, compatible with most modern spodding braids, is included. The reel is further enhanced by a silk black anodised CNC aluminium handle with a comfortable moulded rubber grip. It also comes with a Sonik branded finger stall for casting protection with braid.
