Its also delicious sliced in salads. A strong, disease-resistant variety, ideal for succession sowing. Sow outdoors Sow seeds thinly, about 2cm (1in) apart in pre-watered shallow rows 2cm (1in) deep, and cover with a little soil. Allow about 30cm (12in) between rows. Thin As seedlings develop, thin them to about 20cm (8in) apart. Ensure remaining seedlings are still firm in the soil. Keep soil moist at all times. Harvest June – October. Special note These seeds have been treated with Fluxdioxonil and Matalaxyl-M to aid germination and establishment. Please wash hands after use. Tips Use thinnings and baby fennel bulbs for flavouring salads and sandwiches.
