The CR123A or CR123 is a Lithium photo battery and is most often used in 35mm and APS cameras. The CR123A battery operates at 3V and a most common capacity of 1300mAh. The CR123A battery is also known as a CR123, DL123A, ELCR123AP, K123LA, CR123R and CR17345. This is a non-rechargeable battery, suitable for use in cameras, electronic equipment, and memory back-up applications. A single-use 3V Lithium Thionyl Chloride CR123A battery, designed for electronic applications where reliability and battery life are paramount. Suitable for low and medium current drain applications.
