Advantage Spot On Flea Treatment is an effective solution that can be used for both the treatment and prevention of flea infestations. Fleas are killed through contact and do not need to bite your pet to be eliminated. Advantage also kills flea larvae in the home, wherever the treated pet goes. Fleas cause itching and irritation, carry diseases, and if your pet swallows one while grooming, they could get tapeworm. Only 5% of fleas live on your pet; the other 95% of their lifecycle occurs in carpets and bedding. If you discover fleas on your pet, you may need to treat your home as well. Starts working quickly, eliminating fleas within 24 hours and continuing to protect cats for up to 4 weeks and rabbits for up to one week. Once applied, Advantage spreads quickly across your pet's skin and coat. The product is not absorbed into the body or bloodstream, meaning that fleas do not have to bite to be eliminated. To use, hold the tube in an upright position and twist and pull the cap to remove it. Use the reversed cap to twist and remove the seal from the tube. For large cats and rabbits, apply the spot-on treatment to the back of the pet's neck at the base of the skull. Part the fur until the skin is visible and squeeze firmly to empty the contents of the tube. Applying the product to the base of the skull will minimise the opportunity for the pet to lick the treatment. For large cats and pet rabbits over 4kg in body weight, use 1 pipette of Advantage Spot-On Flea Treatment for Large Cats and Rabbits Over 4kg (80mg). Contains Imidacloprid 80 mg/pipette.
