The first solar-powered chronograph in the Mako family, featuring a three-dial design and 200m water resistance. Powered by sunlight, the Orient Mako Chronograph Solar combines dive and chronograph design elements with the convenience of a solar-powered battery. This model converts light into electrical energy, eliminating the need for battery replacements. Charging is facilitated through the three subdials: a 24-hour indicator at 3 o'clock, a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock, and a small second subdial at 9 o'clock. The watch also features a uni-directional rotating bezel, and an Arabic numeral at the 12 o'clock position, inspired by the first Orient Mako model. With a sapphire crystal and 200m water resistance, it is suitable for a wide range of environments. The VS752 caliber mechanism, an original Japanese movement produced by Orient, offers accuracy within +/- 20 seconds per month. Luminescent indexes and hands ensure visibility in low light. The watch comes in an elegant Orient watch box.
