For consistent and reliable smooth rotation, the design incorporates 7+1 stainless steel ball bearings, supported by a machine-cut aluminium power drive gear and a solid brass pinion gear that together provide exceptional cranking power, torque and long-term durability. This refined internal mechanism is complemented by a high-speed drag system built around multi-carbon drag washers, delivering ultra-smooth, consistent pressure from the lightest adjustment through to full lockdown.
