Open Back Cougar Lintels are designed for cavity wall construction and feature built-in insulation, plaster key, and DPC. They effectively support the uniform distribution of masonry loads, timber floors, and roof loads, and are also suitable for fair-faced inner leaf masonry. These lintels offer duplex corrosion protection, an integral plaster key, and continuous insulation. Formed from galvanised steel and then powder coated for easy use, they are available in standard lengths in increments of 150mm up to 3000mm, and 300mm at 3000mm-3600mm. The Catnic CG90/100 100mm Cavity Wall Lintel is a galvanised steel lintel suitable for cavity walls with a cavity width between 90mm and 105mm. It supports inner leaves of 100–115mm and outer leaves of 100–102mm, delivering dependable performance in domestic and light commercial structures. Lengths range from 750mm to 3600mm. For optimal load distribution, a minimum of 150mm end bearing is recommended on both sides. Both inner and outer leaves can be raised together for simplified installation.
