The Hidra 5 tent is a spacious tunnel tent designed for adaptable adventurers. It features a large porch area with a detachable groundsheet and two entry doors for enhanced flexibility. For comfort and convenience, it includes windows on both sides with toggled curtains, covered front and rear vents for adjustable airflow, and a SleepTight Inner tent for improved sleep quality. The tent also offers standing height in the living area, guyline retainers, a lantern point, inners with mesh panels, and pockets on each side in the inner tent. The groundsheet is a detachable bathtub style, and the bedrooms can be divided for privacy using toggles. Additional features include color-coded poles and pole sleeves for easier pitching. The flysheet is WeatherGuard 3000, made from 190T polyester PU coated, PFC free water repellency, and is fire retardant. Seams are taped to prevent water ingress. Pitching can be done flysheet first or as one. The inner tent is made of breathable polyester, and the floor is polyethylene. The tent weighs 10.8 kg and packs down to 63 x 25 cm. The poles are EnduraFlex fibreglass.
