Tamiya has created an all-new mold to produce the body for this 1:24 scale NISMO GT-R Ztune. JGTC Champion team NISMO has turned its skills towards tuning a graying Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) V-Spec into a supercar. Tuned by experienced experts, the engine delivers a maximum power of 500 hp and a torque of 550 Nm. With its price of around 130,000 euros, it made a huge stir at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show. This is a Tamiya branded ready-to-assemble plastic precision static model kit. It is supplied unpainted and is ideal for model makers and painters! Required to complete: cement, paint and finishing supplies. The NISMO team took 20 prime-condition Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and hand-built them into a totally customized supercar, the Z-tune. Unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Z-tune features major upgrades to internal mechanics including the souped-up 2.8L twin turbo engine with 500hp output, Sachs special suspension system, brakes jointly designed with engineers from Brembo, and lightweight carbon body. Full of racing-spec parts while featuring excellent power and handling, the Z-tune has been called the ultimate road-going car, combining luxury with superior performance. Supplied in card box retail style packaging, it is an ideal model kit for the keen hobbyist to assemble and paint.
