FAQs

Can I put the ceramic pot in the oven?

The inner pot is designed for the slow cooker base only. Do not place it in a conventional oven or on a stovetop.

Can I use the Keep-Warm function for a long time?

It is intended for short-term holding before serving. We do not recommend leaving food on the keep-warm setting for more than 4 hours.

Is the lid dishwasher safe?

Yes, both the toughened glass lid and the removable ceramic inner pot are safe to be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Does the unit have an automatic shut-off feature?

No, this model uses a manual dial. You must switch the dial to the 'Off' position when cooking is complete.

How much liquid should I use?

Since steam does not escape during cooking, use slightly less liquid than a conventional pot recipe to prevent your meal from becoming too watery.

Troubleshooting

Food is undercooked after the recommended time

Ensure the lid is properly seated and avoid opening it during the cooking process, as each lift releases heat and extends cooking time.

The ceramic pot is stuck inside the base unit

This can happen if food residue hardens around the rim. Soak the edges with warm soapy water to loosen the debris before attempting to lift.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Simple, intuitive dial operation
  • Easy to clean with dishwasher-safe components
  • Compact footprint saves counter space
  • Keep-warm function prevents food from cooling too quickly

Cons

  • 3.5L capacity is limited for large families
  • No programmable timer or digital display
  • Outer casing can get warm during long cooking sessions

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Place the cooker on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from walls to allow for air circulation. Before first use, wash the removable inner pot and glass lid in warm, soapy water. To prolong the lifespan of your appliance, avoid using metal utensils inside the ceramic pot as these can scratch the surface; instead, opt for silicone or wooden spoons. When cleaning, ensure the unit is completely cool before removing the pot to prevent thermal shock, and always wipe the exterior base unit with a damp cloth rather than submerging it in water.
