Verbena bonariensis ‘Lollipop’ is a shorter, more compact version of the traditional tall verbena, reaching only half the height. It displays tight clusters of vivid purple flowers on elegant, slender stems throughout summer. This plant is perfect for growing in pots on the patio or for planting in groups in borders, where its airy habit brings texture and softness. It is also an excellent choice for attracting butterflies, bees, and other pollinating insects due to its nectar-rich flowers. Verbena ‘Lollipop’ is incredibly easy to grow, drought-tolerant, and requires minimal fuss once established, needing only occasional watering and no staking. As a fully hardy perennial, it provides a repeat summer display year after year. Plant outdoors in a sheltered position in full sun and well-drained soil, watering thoroughly after planting and regularly until established.
