Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Power On: Press and hold the power button to turn on the console.
- Initial Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to Wi-Fi, log in to your Google account (if desired), and accept terms.
- Game Installation: Transfer your game ROMs and emulators to the device. This can be done via the included USB-C cable, a TF card, or network transfer.
- Emulator Setup: Install your preferred emulators from the Google Play Store or by sideloading APKs. Configure each emulator with the correct BIOS files (if required) and ROM paths.
Compatibility:
The RG556 runs on Android 13, ensuring compatibility with a vast range of Android applications and games. It is designed to emulate systems including, but not limited to, PS2, WII, NGC, PSP, DC, SS, NDS, N64, PS1, ARCADE, GBA, GBC, GB, FC, MD, and others. Ensure that your game ROMs are legally obtained and in compatible formats for the emulators you choose.
Care Instructions:
- Screen: Clean the AMOLED screen gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Body: Wipe down the console's exterior with a slightly damp cloth. Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Ports: Keep USB-C and TF card slots free from dust and debris. Use compressed air if necessary.
- Storage: Store the console in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Consider using a protective case.
- Battery: Avoid fully depleting the battery regularly. Charge using the provided cable and adapter for optimal battery health.
