The fragrant flowers are produced in long racemes and followed by silvery pods. Choose a position in full sun on moist, well-drained soil for your Laburnum tree. Grow Thompson & Morgan Laburnum Anagyroide as a specimen tree or, if you’ve got the space, grow over an archway, where the golden blooms will drip down beautifully! Incorporate plenty of organic matter, such as compost or well-rotted manure, into your border prior to planting. Water regularly throughout the growing season until Laburnum plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant, taking care not to mound it up against the trunk.
