To attach it to a support, simply screw the mount onto the 1/4"-20 thread of your tripod or stand until hand-tight.
For care, wipe the TPE grip pads with a damp cloth periodically to remove dust and oils, which will help maintain the maximum "stick" of the material. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners on the plastic body as they may degrade the material over time.
