The NS-2 features two central grooves and a V-shaped tread for improved water drainage, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. On dry surfaces, the V-shaped tread ribs ensure uniform pressure distribution, maximizing the contact surface for optimal power transmission. Computer-simulated V-shaped drainage sub-grooves enhance hydroplaning resistance at high speeds in deep water. The "Two-in-one pitches" and variable width tread profile work together to minimize pattern noise, providing a quieter and more comfortable ride. Shoulder edge sipes are incorporated to promote even and prolonged tread wear.
