Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation

This cooker hood can be installed in either ducted or recirculating mode. For ducted installation, a ducting kit (D5 or D7) is required and should be purchased separately. For recirculating mode, SIA2 charcoal filters are required. Ensure you have the necessary ceiling height to accommodate the appliance. The required height over a gas hob is 700mm, and over an electric hob is 600mm. Always refer to your hob manual for specific clearance instructions, as it may override these guidelines. Since no plug is supplied, the appliance needs to be hardwired.

Compatibility

This cooker hood is compatible with both gas and electric hobs, provided the minimum clearance requirements are met. Ensure that the ducting outlet diameter (150mm) is compatible with your existing ductwork if using the ducted installation method.

Care

Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. The aluminum grease filter is dishwasher safe, making maintenance easy. Replace the charcoal filters periodically (every 3-6 months, depending on usage) if using the recirculating mode. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
