The Relay Buddy 12/24 is a quick go / no-go tester for common automotive relays, compatible with both 12V and 24V relays. If a relay fails the test, 3 diagnostic trouble codes will indicate potential causes for the failure. This kit includes 5 relay adapters for testing 5 different relay types and comes in a blow mold case. It assesses the general health and function of the relay switch contacts and coil by activating the relay coil and monitoring contact performance. The Relay Buddy operates the relay multiple times per test, checking for consistent operation. A RED LED illuminates if any cycle during the test session is unsuccessful. The kit includes 3 adapters for shielded relays and 2 adapters for new relay types found on fuel pumps and other powered devices.
