Setup
- Initial Boot: Upon first powering on the Chromebook, follow the on-screen instructions to connect to Wi-Fi and sign in with your Google account.
- Account Setup: Set up your Google account, or create a new one. Follow prompts to personalize your settings.
- Updates: Chrome OS will automatically check for and install updates. Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi during this process.
Compatibility
The Acer Chromebook Plus 516 is compatible with a wide range of accessories, including:
- USB-C peripherals (hubs, monitors, etc.)
- USB-A devices (flash drives, mice, etc.)
- Bluetooth devices (headphones, speakers, etc.)
Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the Chromebook in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Battery: Avoid leaving the Chromebook in extreme temperatures to protect the battery. The battery life is 12.5 hours, and it takes 2 hours to charge.
- Updates: Ensure your Chromebook stays updated to benefit from the latest security and performance enhancements.
