The Masterplug Safety in-line RCD continuously monitors the power supply to an electrical appliance and cuts off the power within 40 milliseconds if an earth current fault is detected. This is fast enough to prevent a fatal electrical shock. Specifically Cuts power if the power to an appliance is turned off Added protection against fatal electric shocks Maximum load 3120W, 240VAC 30mA Trip speed, 40ms (typical) Double-pole contact break Manufactured to BS 7071:1992 IP65 Rated. MASTERPLUG IN-LINE SAFETY RCD ACTIVE (NON-LATCHING) TYPE: When power is cut to the device, the RCD will trip and have to be reset, meaning it switches off when the appliance is switched off IT CAN BE EASILY WIRED INTO AN EXISTING CABLE LEAD FOR INSTANT PROTECTION: Providing added protection against fatal electric shocks when using electrical equipment outside WITH A MAXIMUM LOAD OF 3120 WATTS, 240V AC TO SUIT MOST EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS: With a 30 milli-amp trip speed 40 milli-seconds (typical) double pole contact break for immediate response and cover WITH AN IP65 DUST AND WEATHERPROOF RATING: The inline safety RCD protects is easy to wire – just fit into an existing cable reel for instant protection MANUFACTURED TO BS7071:1992: The safety inline RCD power has a double pole contact break for additional safety.
