Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Connect the power adapter to the NucBox M8 and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Connect your monitor using the available display ports (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort).
- Connect your keyboard and mouse via USB ports.
- Power on the Mini PC. If it's the first boot, follow the on-screen prompts for Windows 11 Pro setup.
- Connect to your network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Compatibility:
The GMKTec NucBox M8 is designed to be compatible with standard peripherals such as USB keyboards, mice, webcams, and external storage devices. It supports multiple external displays, allowing for expanded desktop real estate. Ensure your monitor has compatible input ports for connection. Software compatibility is generally high, as it runs a standard Windows 11 Pro operating system.
Care:
- Keep the Mini PC in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Avoid blocking the air vents.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Periodically check that dust is not accumulating heavily around the vents. A can of compressed air can be used carefully to blow away dust from a distance.
- Ensure the power adapter and cables are securely connected.
