Toyo's Proxes TR1 is a high-performance summer tyre offering outstanding grip, wet & dry handling, and value. With an innovative asymmetrical tread pattern, it grips and handles well in a variety of conditions. It features excellent grip, a built-in wear indicator, and outstanding wet performance. The Proxes TR1 is the follow-up to the popular T1-R tyre, with significantly improved wet handling and grip due to a new tread pattern designed for efficient water drainage, enhancing all-weather capability. The tyre is designed with a firmer sidewall and tread pattern for robust and durable performance. The TR1 boasts a 16% shorter wet braking distance and 10% lower rolling resistance compared to the T1R for a more responsive and cost-effective ride. Features include a spiral-wound cap ply for excellent handling and responsiveness in wet and dry conditions, a robust bead filler for excellent linear steering response and durability, and wear indicators for sustained superior grip and handling throughout the tyre's lifespan. The tread pattern design blends form with function for outstanding performance with an individual identity, and innovative wear indicators visualize wear progress. Key tread features include Zigzag & Taper Grooves for water drainage and traction, Twin Open Slits for water drainage, Slant Grooves for water drainage, Wide Grooves for water drainage, High Stiffness Ribs & Taper Slits for grip and stability during cornering, and Circum Sipes for grip during cornering.
