The Cotoneaster Tree is a semi-evergreen shrubby tree that keeps most of its leaves through the winter, adding colour to your garden when other plants are bare and dull. The leaves are long, oval-shaped and flushed with a bright blue-green hue. In spring, the tree bursts forth with clusters of creamy-white small flowers. The flowers are followed by large pendants of creamy-yellow berries that attract a variety of wildlife, especially birds. The berries develop a pink tinge as the winter progresses. These fruits are long lasting and will remain on the tree well into the New Year. Cotoneaster 'Rothschildianus' has an arching habit with branches that bend under the weight of the berries, creating an attractive feature in a small garden.
