It boasts small, dense, spiny leaves in a rich dark green hue but really comes into its own when the flowers bloom in April. These small hanging sprays are fiery orange with red tinges making them really stand out. Blue-black berries complete the cycle in Summer and are a valuable source of food for birds and small mammals. This compact variety is extremely low maintenance, and once it’s been positioned, requires very little attention to thrive. All it needs is to be watered regularly during dry spells of weather. No pruning is necessary, other than to remove dead or damaged branches and the shrub is generally pest-free. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only.
