Loctite 248 is a medium strength anaerobic threadlocking material which is supplied as a wax-like semi-solid, conveniently packaged in a stick format. This prevents dripping and loosening on vibrating assemblies. It works on all metals, including passive substrates, and is proven to tolerate minor contamination by industrial oils. The product permits disassembly with hand tools.
