This lead acid battery activator and refresher with LED display acts against the sedimentation of lead sulphate and thus increases the service life of the car battery. Lead sulphate is actively removed and the sedimentation is prevented. Operating voltage: Approx. 11-16V. Automatic deactivation: Approx. 11V. Max. pulsed current: Approx. 100 A. Duration pulsed current: Approx. 100 µsec. Pulse sequence: Approx. every 5 sec. Current consumption: Approx. 0.2 mA. Pulse display. May also be used for GEL batteries Dimensions: Approx. 74x51x30mm (without mounting feet). On the plates of the lead-acid batteries are formed sulphate, particularly in the case of batteries which are little used or only Saisonweise (e.g. motorcycles with winter break). In the self-discharge during the life cover crystalline sulfate slowly the lead plates and will lead to capacity reduction of lead-acid batteries. The lead acid battery activator is simply connected in parallel to the battery and provides with very short-term, very strong current pulses to ensure that the sulphate deposits reduce and existing deposits slowly dismantling. It does not matter whether the battery is charging or not. That means that a trickle charger e.g. for motorcycle batteries at the same time. The lead acid battery conditioner also extends the life of the car battery in the daily active mode.
