Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare the cartridge for use, first remove the plastic nozzle extension and push the internal nozzle seal inwards. Cut the nozzle tip to your desired bead width and screw it back onto the cartridge. Finally, punch and remove the bottom seal of the cartridge before inserting it into a standard caulking gun.
To ensure product longevity, avoid exposing the cartridge to excessive humidity during storage. If you do not use the entire contents of the tube, leave a small bead of material protruding from the nozzle tip. This protruding bit will cure, creating a natural plug that keeps the internal material fresh. Before your next project, simply pull this hardened plug out of the nozzle to clear the path for fresh sealant. Always store in a cool, dry environment.
