LOCTITE 401 is a fast curing, low viscosity, clear cyanoacrylate adhesive. It is designed for the assembly of difficult-to-bond materials which require uniform stress distribution and strong tension and/or shear strength. It provides rapid bonding of a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, and elastomers. LOCTITE 401 is also suited for bonding porous materials such as wood, paper, leather, and fabric. It is NSF food approved and can withstand temperatures from -40 to +120C with a gap fill of 0.05mm. This universal adhesive is ideal for quick emergency repairs and can be used on materials including metal, plastics, elastomers, and for porous materials such as wood, paper, leather or textiles. As a single component, no mixing is necessary for application. After application, it cures quickly at room temperature.
